On May 25, Canada sent a new round of invitations to 589 Express Entry candidates, encouraging them to apply for permanent residency. To be admitted to this draw, you needed to have a minimum score of 741. Because the cutoff score was so high, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) only welcomed candidates who had already secured a provincial nomination. Express Entry candidates who have received a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) will have 600 CRS points added to their base score automatically. This draw was a little bigger and had a lower CRS cut off than the previous one. IRCC invited 545 PNP candidates having scores of at least 753 in the previous Express Entry lottery.
