Alberta has held a new draw for the Express Entry linked stream of the Alberta Advantage immigration programme, asking 100 people to apply. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score for the May 19 draw was 382, which was 26 points higher than the previous draw. Candidates for the Alberta Express Entry stream must have expressed a desire to immigrate permanently to the province and be employed in a field that supports Alberta's economic development and diversification.
In the Alberta Express Entry pool, the province has 1.050 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 750 expressions of interest applications.
Candidates must have a current Express Entry profile in the federal Express Entry pool in order to receive a notification of interest:

• Must have expressed an interest in relocating to Alberta permanently.
• Work in a field that contributes to Alberta's economic growth and diversification.
• Have a minimum of 300 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System.
