British Columbia has issued an invitation to more than 140 candidates for its provincial nomination program. The June 7 draw had invitations issued in three different ways. Skilled workers and graduates with a minimum score above 85 points were given 125 invitations through the BC Tech stream. A draw targeting healthcare workers saw less than five invitations issued to skilled workers and international graduates, as well as entry level and semi-skilled workers, who had a minimum score of 60. The exact number of invites was not published to protect their privacy. Another 16 invitations were sent out to skilled workers and international graduate students who scored at least 60 points in an exam targeting early childhood educators under NOC 4214.
