Canada has issued its largest Express Entry draw in nearly three months, inviting 932 candidates for provincial nomination. The June 8 draw requires a CRS score of at least 796 points, 55 points higher than the previous PNB draw. Immigration Minister Sean Fraser has announced that all-program draw cards will be resumed in early July. IRCC has been focusing on clearing the current significant back log before resuming issuing ITAs in larger amounts. So far, Canada has issued 9,365 invitations to PNP candidates, for the 2022 election. IRCC has issued a record 114, 431 ITAs in 2021, for CEC and PNP candidates. It broke the previous record of 107K set in 2020. The latest draw saw a new tie-breaker rule implemented, which was used for the first time on October 10, 2021 at 1.13 pm EDT. Only candidates who submitted their Express Entry profile before this date and time were invited to apply for permanent residence.
